Bachchan, Amitabh (b.1942) The Bollywood star who was voted "Superstar of the Millennium" by a BBC poll, was also declared the first and only star selected from the Indian Cinema for waxing at the famous Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in London. The announcement was made during the first International Indian Film Awards (IIFA) in London on June 24, 2000. His wax statue is expected to be ready to be installed among the world famous personalities, past and present by the year end (2000).
